Historic Moments in Film - Trading Places

Adam Schleichkorn Saturday, March 29, 2008 ,
Another downright classic comedy, Trading Places starring Eddie Murphy and Dan Aykroyd. Two brothers (Don Ameche and Ralph Bellamy) who own a stock trading firm on Wall Street, decide to have their own brand of fun, and set up one established worker into a gigantic downward spiral, while replacing him with a guy off the street. Murphy and Aykroyd are flawless in this one, and I'd probably rank this in my top 10 comedies of all-time. This scene is where Eddie Murphy catches the brother's discussing their evil plan, and realizes that they screwed up this guy's life over a one dollar bet!
