so yeah

hello

i'm new here.

i guess i could be described as the foreign exchange student.

let me tell you a little about what's going on.

last month i had the privilege of visiting a good friend of mine who is staying in Brooklyn, and whilst there i met some pretty cool people. let me rephrase that. some very cool people. We went drinking, eating, drinking and more eating till all hours of the morning. We even played scrabble one night (i felt slightly cheated as it was the american scrabble and no one from england can draw 'Louisiana'... you trying drawing Manchester... whatever, we still won.) good times. one fella in particular (as were many others) was a pretty safe guy. He goes by the name of Peter Toh. I'm sure you've heard of him. He was digging the old English charm and asked me if i would be so kind as to contribute to his blog, so here i am. Invading what i can only assume is a predominantly american blog with my talk of fish and chips, cups o tea and merry old england.

so yeah. I'm thinking a weekly column appropriately named 'cynical Britain'.

watch this space.

one!
